HAA (Hexahydro-1,3,5-tris(2-hydroxyethyl)-s-triazine):

HAA is considered an environmentally friendly hardener compared to TGIC. It prevents the formation of trichlorophenol (TCP), a disadvantage of TGIC-based hardeners, and is less harmful to the environment. Additionally, HAA-based hardeners are known to provide better chemical and thermal resistance.

HAA-based hardeners, like TGIC, are reactive hardeners that facilitate the curing of paint coatings at high temperatures. They increase the reaction rate as the temperature rises, similar to TGIC hardeners, resulting in faster curing of the coatings.
